Raynes Park High School
A Specialist Technology College. We were named one of the top 100 most improved schools in the country for our GCSE summer 2012 results by the Minister for Schools, Rt Hon David Laws MP, and our maths and science results were in the top 25% nationally for the progress our students made for value added. We have made this rapid improvement through innovative, student-centred change over the past two years. Raynes Park High School is a vibrant mixed school for students aged 11–19 years old with a specialism in technology. We have a rich history, clear identity and very strong community.
We are proud to be a local authority community comprehensive school, with a diverse student body from a range of backgrounds, cultures and abilities. We pride ourselves on the positive relationships that exist in the school and the happy environment in which we work. Visitors often comment on this, but we never take it for granted.
A Specialist Mathematics and Computing College. The high academic attainment of our students was recognised and commended by the Specialist School and Academies Trust (SSAT): “Rutlish School qualified as one of the top 10% of schools in England by improving its results year-on-year from 2008 to 2011 by at least 19 percentage points”. Our specialist status as a Mathematics and Computing College enabled us to build on our outstanding maths department and enhance our ICT facilities across all departments. We are fully equipped to support our students’ education. Our boys leave us as confident, articulate and sensitive young men, fully equipped to take up a place in our 6th Form (RR6), higher education or employment.
